About Quayle’s Brewery

Quayle's Brewery is a farm brewery nestled on 87 acres in the picturesque rolling hills of Oro-Medonte, 15 minutes west of Orillia, ON or 20 minutes north of Barrie.

As an independently owned and operated establishment, we offer a unique destination experience for guests who value community, a farm-to-pint approach, and a desire for knowledge. With two floors of indoor seating, a spacious outdoor patio, and a charming beer garden, our brewery provides a welcoming atmosphere for all.

All our beer is brewed on-site, including beers made with five varieties of hops grown on our property. Beyond brewing, we host weddings, private parties, and corporate events, as well as outdoor artisan markets, cycling events, themed gatherings, and live music. Our diverse guests include families, cyclists, pet lovers, craft beer enthusiasts, and visitors seeking a unique farm experience.

Purpose and Objective

We are looking for an experienced Brewer to join our team.

As a brewer, your role is to work with our brew team through the full line of production, from brew day through packaging. The brewing team member will follow Quayle’s Brewery standards to ensure that products are of the highest quality and is a strong team player.

Key Responsibilities:

- Brewing on our 35hl production brewhouse, and our 5hl pilot system
- Quality assurance along the line of production
- Cropping, hopping, CIPs and filtering
- Assist with canning, bottling, keg and barrel filling
- Design new beers for our rotating list of taps
- Sensory assessment and recipe improvement




- Preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintaining storage spaces and FIFO procedures
- Proper handling of brewery chemicals
- Understanding and practicing all internal safety standards
- Opportunities to help with hop farming, attend festivals and conferences
- Being an everyday ambassador for Quayle’s beer, brand and farm experience

Who You Are

- Brewer with 3+ years experience
- Excellent communicator, personable and friendly
- Strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments
- A problem solver with attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Can work both independently and within a team
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
- Passionate about quality, craft beer, and continuing to learn and grow within the industry
