Surgenor Truck Group (Ottawa) seeking a bilingual (English and French), knowledgeable, driven, and customer-focused Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a parts representative for our wholesale and fleet customers, handling parts questions for class 3 to 8 commercial vehicles, helping customers identify, source, and purchase products and parts they need to maintain their fleet. This position will require technical product knowledge and proactive customer management to drive wholesale growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

- 2 years – knowledge of heavy and medium duty commercial vehicles

- 2 years – sales experience in a relevant industry

- 1 years – managing a large sales territory

- 1 years – dealer or aftermarket parts sales experience

- 1 years – dealership Parts dept. experience, specifically with EPCs and DMS

- 1 years – Microsoft office suite experience

- Must have excellent English written and oral communications skills – grammar and syntax.

- Fully bilingual, fluent in French - reading, writing, speaking (Sales Territory is Quebec and Eastern ON)

- Effective problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving abstract

- Physically must be able to climb, enter, and exit a commercial vehicle without assistance

- Physically must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. without assistance

Key Responsibilities

- Call, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and sales territory with the goal of increased sales

- Prospects and onboard new customers every month and create parts leads and recent prospect goals

- Utilize all available database records to create sales leads/opportunities

- Handle inbound parts sales calls

- Create and present marketing strategies to Parts Manager

- Plan, develop, and communicate territory sales strategy

- PartsASIST

- Signup current legacy accounts to PartsASIST

- Customer education on new products

- Utilize Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) and other manufacturer portals to accurately identify parts for engines, transmissions, and other major and minor truck components

- Source and order OEM and Non-OEM parts through our partner programs and aftermarket sources

- Process and follow-up on parts orders

- Process core and warranty parts as required

- Coordinate with warehouse and Parts Manager to ensure pickup and delivery of bulk wholesale orders

- Act as a public representative for the dealership.

- Assist in maintaining parts dept. wholesale inventory

- Create sales leads by delivering parts as needed





- Assist other outside parts sales rep with sales calls and customer visits

- Maintain scheduled maintenance for company vehicle

- Other duties as assigned

Salary and Bonus total: $60,000 to $75,000
