We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department with daily financial and administrative tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a respected and supportive organization.

Responsibilities include:

- Post Accounts Payable Invoices
- Post credit card transactions and reconcile to credit card statement
- Post daily deposits for cash, cheques EFT’s debit and credit card transactions
- Post wholesale vehicle deals
- Count vehicle inventory monthly
- Post parts invoices and reconcile to monthly statement
- Analyze and reconcile accounting schedules
- Perform filing and general clerical tasks

Qualifications

- 2 years of accounting experience
- College Accounting Certificate
- Knowledge and accounting experience using EXCEL
- Experience working the in automotive industry and using CDK accounting system considered an asset
- Works well with team and individually




- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organization skills and attention to detail
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively

Schedule - Full time Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Location - Various Mark Motors Group locations across Ottawa
