Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Parcel Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering parcels to customers across designated routes. Your primary focus will be ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, physical stamina, and experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving. Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload parcels using appropriate moving techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses accurately and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing qualified assistance and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, ensuring parcels are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation for each parcel delivered.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate parcel movement and inventory management.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs,



and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow company policies regarding safety procedures, route planning, and package handling.

Experience

- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in moving heavy or bulky items safely and efficiently.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous, especially familiarity with forklift operation.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of local routes, navigation tools, and traffic regulations.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of moving parcels.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.

Pay: $150.00-$180.00 per day
