Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be adept at performing various plumbing tasks. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform plumbing tasks effectively.
- Solder and assemble various components as needed for plumbing installations.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary maintenance.
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and implement effective solutions.
- Great attention to detail for final installation of plumbing fixtures on renovation projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a plumber with relevant certifications or licenses.




- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and soldering equipment.
- Solid skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Ability to build, maintain, and plumb various systems efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with plumbing work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Journeyman Plumbing ticket (preferred)
