St. Lawrence Cruise Lines Inc. has an opening for the position of Stewardess for a Kingston-based overnight cruise ship on 4, 5, 6 and 7 night voyages to Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City.

This position is Full time, Seasonal in September and October. It is suitable for persons over the age of 18 (including college and university students not returning for the fall semester). Paid training is provided. Smart Serve certification (or equivalent) is preferred but not necessary. Prior experience is not necessary but cleaning experience, hospitality experience, and table service experience will considered an asset.

Under the supervision of the Cruise Director, the Stewardess is responsible for the following:

- Cocktail Service
- Dining Room Service
- Housekeeping
- General crew related duties

Work Periods:

· Full time, Seasonal (September-October)
· 10.5 hour days (on average)
· Alternating 4, 5, 6 and 7 night cruises on a "cruise-on, cruise-off" basis – equivalent to 40 hrs per week





Wages and Compensation:

· $18.10 per hour + gratuities (season average $100/night)
· Participation in crew gratuity program
· Transportation to/from ports provided (with food allowance)
· Meals and accommodation provided while cruising
