Budget Car & Truck Rental is hiring a reliable Vehicle Transport Driver to join our Port Alberni team on a casual, on-call basis.
This position involves moving rental vehicles between Port Alberni and other locations on Vancouver Island, with occasional longer-distance trips to other parts of British Columbia as needed.
This role is a good fit for someone looking for flexible work who enjoys driving and working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport rental vehicles between Port Alberni and other Vancouver Island locations
- Complete occasional longer-distance trips to other parts of BC
- Follow scheduling instructions and coordinate basic trip logistics
- Work with team members to support daily fleet and operational needs
- Interact professionally with business partners and customers when required
Requirements
- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence or higher
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to work on-call with a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with highway driving and occasional longer trips
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous driving or vehicle transport experience
- Customer service or other professional work experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
