Location: 300 Rue Saint-Louis, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC J3B 1Y4
Pay: CA$22–$25 per hour, depending on relevant experience
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Day shift: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; evening shift: 3:30 p.m.–midnight. The assigned shift will be confirmed upon hiring. Occasional overtime may be required.

About the position

Lanart Rug Inc. is looking for a reliable individual with strong mechanical aptitude to operate its polyurethane injection moulding line for pillow manufacturing. You will help ensure the moulding carousel runs smoothly, maintain product quality, and contribute to improvements in production methods.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the polyurethane injection moulding carousel according to work instructions and production targets.
- Prepare and inspect moulds; follow procedures for startup, shutdown, and product or material changeovers.
- Monitor process settings and make authorized adjustments within the scope of your training.
- Perform quality checks for density, surface appearance, and mould filling; identify and separate non-conforming products.
- Identify irregularities, document problems, and request maintenance support when needed.
- Record production quantities, scrap, downtime, and corrective actions; communicate relevant information to the team.
- Keep moulds, equipment,



and the work area clean according to established procedures.
- Follow safety instructions, wear required personal protective equipment, and comply with applicable material-handling and lockout procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement and share best practices with other operators.

Qualifications

- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in polyurethane moulding, plastic injection moulding, or extrusion is a strong asset.
- Good mechanical aptitude and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, take basic measurements, and complete production records.
- Attention to quality, safety awareness, punctuality, and teamwork.
- Ability to work standing up and perform regular production duties, with appropriate accommodations as needed.
