Warehouse Assistant

Our client is currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant to help maintain efficiency, accuracy, and safety in the handling, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished products.

Responsibilities

- Operate material handling equipment (ex. forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers) to unload, move, and store materials efficiently and safely.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into inventory systems.
- Pull raw materials, components, and supplies from inventory to fulfill production orders and meet internal customer demands.
- Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Stack pallets and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of materials.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Perform order picking, verification, and packing duties with precision and attention to detail.




- Load and secure goods onto trailers or transport vehicles, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Basic math skills (high school level) for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software an asset.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
