Duties

- Conduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance on vehicles following manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Perform welding, assembly, and disassembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Diagnose mechanical issues through inspection, testing, and reading schematics to determine the best course of action
- Utilize automotive repair knowledge to replace or repair parts efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Assist with vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation of repairs performed




- Support team members with technical guidance on complex repairs or assembly tasks as needed

Requirements

- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Skilled in welding, using hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting safely
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Experience with automotive repair software or diagnostic tools is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
- Valid certification as a 310S shop technician or equivalent certification demonstrating specialized training in vehicle repair
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work efficiently under pressure
