3rd Year Sheet Metal Apprentice

Location: Mississauga, ON Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: $30–$35/hour , based on experience and skill

Industry: Commercial HVAC / Mechanical Construction

About the Role

We are looking for a 3rd Year Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our growing mechanical team in Mississauga. This is a outstanding opportunity for a 3rd year sheet metal apprentice who wants to continue developing their trade skills, gain hands-on experience, and work alongside experienced tradespeople on commercial mechanical construction projects throughout the GTA.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, eager to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work.

What You'll Do

- Assist with the installation and fabrication of sheet metal and HVAC systems
- Measure, cut, bend and form sheet metal
- Assemble and install sheet metal components
- Read and work from mechanical drawings and shop drawings
- Assist with modifications, repairs and installations
- Use hand tools, power tools and sheet metal equipment
- Work alongside experienced sheet metal workers and other trades
- Follow direction from forepersons and senior tradespeople
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Follow all applicable Ontario construction and safety procedures
- Continue developing your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship

What We're Looking For





- Currently in your 3rd year of a Sheet Metal apprenticeship
- Hands-on experience working with sheet metal
- Basic ability to read mechanical drawings and plans
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Good measuring and layout skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to work effectively as part of a construction team
- Good understanding of construction site safety
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are assets
