Key Accountabilities

G Drivers will be operating Dash Expedite owned trucks

Load/unload material at customer sites in the Excellent Toronto Area (GTA) and South Western Ontario (SWO)

Conduct pre-inspections and post inspections of truck and load

Must ensure that the load is properly secured, and responsible for strapping and tarping the load

Comply with all Ministry of Transportation and Dash Expedite regulations and policies

Professionalism and excellence in customer service

Qualifications

Ideal candidate has 1-3 years experience as a commercial driver with flatbed experience

Prior steel hauling experience is preferred but not a requirement

Valid and up-to-date drivers abstract, G Class License

Strong ability to follow instruction and have knowledge of routes in GTA/SWO

Strong ability to work in a team environment

Able to lift up to 50lbs and ensure load is properly secured on the flatbed

Able to read, write and speak English fluently

Able and comfortable driving in all weather conditions

Self-motivated, punctual, reliable and highly safety conscious

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
