Prospect AIMCo's CPA Rotational Program offers meaningful, hands-on experience across teams that support AIMCo's financial operations. Through multiple rotations, you will develop practical skills in financial analysis, reporting, controls, valuation, process improvement, and business partnerships. You will also a broader understanding of how teams across AIMCo work together while progression towards your CPA designation.

This 30-month rotational accounting program will start in May 2027. As you complete your CPA Professional Program and pursue your CPA designation, you and your managers will focus on completing CPA tasks statements in key development areas and will receive support and assistance from your team and mentors. **NOTE this role will close at 11:59 PM MST on October 5, 2026.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will evolve as you proceed through your rotations. You will learn the day-to-day operations of each group, complete scheduled reports, and gain experience using Excel, Structured Query Language (SQL), Power BI, Aladdin by BlackRock, and SimCorp Dimensions (SCD). You will learn to ensure Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are being adhered to across the organization.

You will learn how we apply these standards on prescribed basis of accounting for our clients who report using different accounting frameworks. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will work on more ad hoc requests and be expected to identify efficiencies and implement process changes with the support of your team members.



As you develop trust and exhibit a high attention to detail, your responsibilities may increase throughout each rotation stream.

- Valuations

- Investment Finance

- Corporate Finance

- Internal Audit

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

- Completed required undergraduate education or equivalent work experience to be eligible to register for CPA Professional Program when employment begins.

- Awareness of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

- Exposure to financial accounting and analytical projects is an asset.

- Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerBI, Word, and PowerPoint).

- Self-driven with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.

- Demonstrated time-management skills and an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

- Track record of academic success while balancing extracurricular activities.

- Team-oriented with the ability to communicate in an effective and timely manner.

- Previous AIMCo or financial institution experience is considered an asset.

Final candidates will be asked to undergo a security screening, which includes a credit bureau and a criminal record investigation, the results of which must be acceptable to AIMCo.
