We're recruiting a full-time, permanent Accounting & Payroll Administrator on behalf of our client, a Canadian-owned consulting and professional services firm known for its solid values and collaborative culture. Reporting to the CFO, this role is responsible for managing full-cycle payroll, timesheet administration, accounts receivable and payable, and supporting month-end close. We're looking for someone sharp and proactive who thrives in a team setting, communicates clearly, sweats the details, and gets things done without needing the spotlight.

Main responsibilities include

- Managing bi-weekly ADP payroll, related GL reconciliations, expense claims, Sage data entry, and monthly WSIB remittances.
- Training and supporting users on the timesheet system, resolving time discrepancies, and managing data from third-party platforms.
- Preparing and posting client billings, ensuring accuracy through coordination with account executives and customers.
- Processing vendor invoices and payments,



maintaining vendor relationships through timely follow-up
- Supporting month-end close by preparing working papers and reconciling intercompany and balance sheet accounts.

- Formal education in accounting or finance, or equivalent relevant work experience
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including payroll
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools such as ADP, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a professional services environment, ideally supporting consultants, is an asset
