SLB is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to join our Lloydminster team. This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Lloydminster facility and serves as the first point of contact for employees, customers, visitors, and guests.
The Administrative
Clerk is responsible for supporting daily office, operational, and financial activities, including purchase order processing, shipment coordination, records management, facility administration, and general office support to help ensure the efficient operation of the facility.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Lloydminster facility, including maintaining records, documentation, and reports in support of Finance and Operations teams.
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, guests, and employees, and support visitor administration, site access requirements, and new employee onboarding activities.
- Create, process, track, and receive purchase orders using SAP, including invoice validation and support for month-end administrative activities.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, courier packages, deliveries, and related documentation.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and maintain office, kitchen, and common areas to support a professional and organized work environment.
- Order, receive, and maintain office, kitchen, and facility supplies in accordance with company procedures.
- Create and submit maintenance and work order requests, coordinate preventative maintenance and repair activities, and conduct routine facility inspections to support the safe and effective operation of the facility.
- Assist with maintaining facility standards and identifying conditions that may impact daily operations.
- Comply with all SLB quality, operational, and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in an office or administrative environment is required.
- Experience with SAP or any other ERP platform is considered a strong asset.
- Exposure to oil and gas operations, terminology, or administrative processes is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in financial documentation, purchase order processing, and record keeping.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
