Norstar Industries Ltd is in search of a Territory Sales Representative to grow our agricultural trailer business across Western Canada and the USA.

The Opportunity

Norstar Industries is looking for a relationship-driven, growth-minded Territory Sales Representative to grow our agricultural trailer business across Western Canada and the USA. This role combines the management and development of an established dealer network with the opportunity to open new markets, build new dealer partnerships, and increase Norstar's market share.

You'll represent Norstar's growing lineup of agricultural trailers, including Side Draw Drill Fills, Seed Tenders, Fertilizer Tenders, Grain Trailers and other products as introduced. This is a field focused sales role for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, developing territory, finding new opportunities and taking ownership of sales growth.

The position reports directly to the Ag Division Sales Manager.

What You'll Do:

Grow & Support Our Dealer Network

- Maintain consistent, proactive communication with dealers throughout your territory.
- Help dealers with product selection, quoting, sales opportunities, and sales strategy
- Identify opportunities to increase Norstar sales and market share within existing accounts
- Ensure dealer inquiries , quotes, and opportunities receive timely follow up.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key dealers to review performance, identify opportunities and develop growth plans.

Develop New Markets

- Identify underserved markets and develop territory growth strategies alongside the Ag Division Sales Manager.
- Look for opportunities to increase Norstar's presence and product penetration within existing markets.




- Understand competitive activity, dealer needs and market opportunities throughout the territory.
- Turn market opportunities into actionable sales plans.

Build New Dealer Partnerships

- Identify and pursue qualified prospective dealers.
- Develop current relationships through phone, email, industry connections and in-person visits.
- Evaluate potential dealers based on market fit, capabilities, growth potential and long-term partnership opportunities.
- Successfully onboard new dealers and help them build momentum with the Norstar product line.

Get Into The Field This isn't a desk-only sales position! Strong dealer relationships are built in-person!

- Regularly visit established dealers throughout the territory.
- Meet prospective dealers and develop new markets.
- Attend dealer events and other strategic customer opportunities.
- Travel will occur approximately 20+ weeks throughout the year.

Represent Norstar at Industry Events

- Represent Norstar at key agricultural trade shows and industry events.
- Develop relationships with dealers, prospective dealers, customers and industry partners.
- Engage with customers and prospects at the Norstar booth.
- Support trade show setup and execution as required.
- Ensure leads and opportunities receive effective post-show follow-up.

Own Your Pipeline Consistent CRM usage is an essential part of how Norstar manages dealer relationships, opportunities and forecasting. You will be expected to:

- Maintain accurate and current dealer, prospect, opportunity and sales activity records.
- Document quotes and follow-up activities.
- Actively manage your sales pipeline.
- Maintain visibility into upcoming opportunities and dealer activity.
- Use CRM information to prioritize opportunities and forecast sales.





What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is competitive about growth but relationship focused in how they achieve it. The right person will:

- Be an excellent relationship builder who genuinely enjoys working with dealers and customers.
- Have strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Be self-motivated and comfortable managing a large territory independently.
- Take ownership of results rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them.
- Understand that great territory sales requires both supporting existing accounts and creating new business.
- Be organized and disciplined in CRM and pipeline management.
- Think long-term and value strong dealer partnerships over transactional selling.
- Be comfortable with regular travel throughout Western Canada and the US.

Experience Agricultural, farm equipment, trailer or dealer-network experience is strongly preferred. We're also interested in proven territory sales professionals from related industries who understand how to develop dealer relationships, build markets and grow a territory.

Compensation

Base Salary plus Commission. The Commission is an uncapped, tiered commission structure designed to reward growth.

To aid in your success, Norstar provides a cell-phone and company paid business travel.

Norstar also has a benefit plan and company matched RRSP program (match up to $1,000 per year).
