Role: APIGEE Lead

Location: Canada (Remote)

We are seeking an APIGEE Lead with robust expertise in Google Apigee, API management, and enterprise integration architecture. The role involves designing scalable API solutions, establishing governance and security standards, and providing technical leadership across the API lifecycle.

4. API Security – OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, API Keys, mTLS
5. CI/CD & DevOps – Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise API management solutions using Google Apigee X/Hybrid.
- Design scalable API solutions including proxies, reusable policies, shared flows, target endpoints, and API products.
- Manage the complete API lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, versioning, security, monitoring, and retirement.
- Define and enforce API governance, standards, documentation, versioning, and security practices.
- Architect integrations with enterprise applications, microservices, databases, SaaS, messaging, and legacy systems.
- Implement API security, traffic management, authentication, authorization,



caching, transformation, and fault-handling strategies.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and integrate Apigee with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Maven, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
- Design solutions for high availability, scalability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and performance.
- Define monitoring, logging, alerting, analytics, and production support strategies.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and design walkthroughs while mentoring Apigee and integration teams.
- Support API modernization and migration initiatives and translate business requirements into scalable API architectures.
