Application Production Support Engineer - Asset Finance & Securitization

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Production Support Engineer to provide support for critical banking applications supporting Asset Finance & Securitization, Credit, and Working Capital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong production support expertise, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and exposure to financial services environments.

This role requires close collaboration with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and operations groups to ensure application stability, performance, security, and availability in a 24x7 production workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 production support for mission-critical banking applications.
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, service requests, and application issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
- Support application deployments, releases, and change management activities.
- Troubleshoot issues across applications, databases, middleware, and infrastructure components.




- Support data flows between applications and upstream/downstream systems.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR), backup recovery, and business continuity testing.
- Ensure compliance with information security, governance, and data protection standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
- Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in on-call support and production maintenance activities.
