If you are a motivated Labourer with a minimum 1 year construction and residential renovation experience and looking to broaden your skills, we are looking for you to join our team. Vortek Construction specializes in residential renovations and abatement, providing diversity in our projects with commitment to quality and excellence.

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm; some overtime

Various work locations within Edmonton and Areas. Must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.

Major Work Area: construction, renovations, and maintenance/repair for commercial and residential; abatement

Specific Skills Include but limited to: Determine specifications and calculate requirements, measure, cut, assemble with wood, drywall and plastic materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.



Build walls and install partitions. Install suspended ceilings. Build and install counters, indirect lighting, display cases etc. Build containments, clean up.

Essential Skills Include but limited to: Operate power tools, read plans and measuring tape, read text, oral communication, work with others, work unsupervised, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, significant use of memory, continuous learning, efficient

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
