Kelowna Hyundai is looking for an energetic, motivated Apprentice Technician to join our Service Department.

Work in a modern, fully air-conditioned shop equipped with up-to-date alignment, tire-changing, and inspection equipment, alongside an experienced and supportive team.

This is a fixed-term position until December 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will primarily assist with tire changes, oil changes, and general vehicle maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform tire changes, oil changes, inspections, and basic vehicle maintenance
- Assist technicians with service and repair work as assigned
- Complete work accurately and efficiently while meeting quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area
- Keep customer vehicles clean and protected
- Use dealership computer systems to access repair orders and parts information
- Assist with shop and lot maintenance, including sweeping and snow removal
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Follow dealership safety and service procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Foreman

Qualifications:

- Valid Driver’s License
- Positive Attitude and willingness to listen and follow direction
- Basic tool knowledge would be necessary to begin
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work Saturdays
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must have a valid driver licence and good driving record
