Gullco International Limited is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished equipment according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with electrical components, and takes pride in producing quality work. Experience with soldering, wiring, and common hand and power tools is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and finished equipment.
- Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and other electrical connections as required.
- Read and follow assembly drawings, electrical schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions.
- Install motors, switches, wiring, fasteners, and related components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and basic electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect and test assembled products for accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with quality standards.
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving mechanical or electrical assembly issues.
- Identify and report defective components, drawing discrepancies, and production concerns.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality personnel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.




- Robust mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Commitment to safe work practices and high-quality workmanship.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Skills Considered an Asset

- Soldering, electrical wiring, testing, or troubleshooting experience.
- Mechanical assembly or repair experience, particularly with electromechanical equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Experience using multimeters, measuring instruments, and power tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality-control procedures.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing assembly work.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to bend, reach, and safely lift or move materials and equipment as required for the role, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
