Responsibilities

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant functions, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness standards
- Supervise and motivate staff members to ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
- Manage daily operations such as cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS, and inventory control
- Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
- Maintain food safety standards by ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality and consistency across all menu items
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow during busy hours and ensure timely service




- Assist in training team members on food industry best practices, including bartending, serving, barista skills, and hospitality protocols

Skills

- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Robust knowledge of restaurant management operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure situations with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Skilled in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees to build effective teams
- Familiarity with restaurant experience including serving, bartending, barista work, and hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols within the food industry
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
