Responsibilities

- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service
- Supervise and motivate team members, including conducting interviews and performance evaluations
- Manage bar inventory, waste management and consistency
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Support team training on customer service, food presentation, and hospitality best practices
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health codes
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction




- Lead by example in serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square & Toast for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and developing staff members
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience with inventory and bar environments is a plus for versatile service skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate between front-of-house and kitchen teams
