The Department of International Business is looking for one or more new colleagues to join us at the Assistant Professor level.

We are particularly interested in scholars who want to understand how the global economy is changing — and who are comfortable crossing disciplinary boundaries to do so.

International trade, global governance, multinational enterprises, innovation and globalization, regional and national economic development, sustainable and inclusive development: these are some of the areas we are interested in. But more broadly, we are looking for researchers asking significant questions about the economic, social and institutional transformations reshaping international business.

Our department brings together perspectives from international business, economics, economic geography, political science and the broader social sciences. We are 15 full-time faculty members,



with activities spanning research and teaching from the undergraduate level to the PhD, as well as initiatives such as the Institute for Economic Diplomacy and the Chair in Innovation and Regional Development.

For young scholars completing their PhD or beginning their academic career, Montréal also offers a particularly stimulating environment in which to develop an ambitious research agenda.
