The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the flower shop, ensuring excellent customer service, high-quality floral products, effective team performance, and a clean, organized and welcoming store environment.

The Assistant Store Manager is a hands-on leader who works alongside the floral team to prepare orders, create floral arrangements, serve customers, maintain inventory, and ensure daily operational standards are consistently followed.

The Assistant Store Manager acts as the Store Manager's key support and assumes responsibility for the store's operations in the Store Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the flower shop.
- Assist with opening and closing the store as required.
- Ensure daily operational procedures are followed consistently.
- Help coordinate daily workflow and prioritize floral orders according to delivery requirements and customer needs.




- Prepare floral orders accurately and on time.
- Ensure orders are properly processed, prepared and ready for delivery or customer pickup.
- Review confirmed orders and follow established procedures to minimize missed orders, incorrect orders and delivery-date errors.
- Assist with receiving, stocking and organizing flowers, plants, supplies and merchandise.
- Assist with reviewing receiving forms and identifying discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work setting.
- Ensure the shop floor, work areas and storage areas are maintained to company standards.
