Automotive and Heavy Vehicle Partsperson - Surrey

Number of positions: 1 Job Location: Surrey Garage

Employment type: Permanent Region: Lower Mainland

Hours of work: Full time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Field

Hourly Rate: $ 44.18

What you'll do

- An Automotive and Heavy Vehicle Partsperson identifies automotive parts and supplies, issue automotive supplies, parts

and shop tools.
- Accepts and records deliveries of materials and maintains the stock room.

- Arranges for shipping of materials, prepares way bills, delivery slips and other records.
- Engages vendors to facilitate and document warranty work.
- May be required to pick up or deliver parts and operate a forklift.





- Automotive and Heavy Vehicle Partspersons will have or obtain a red seal Parts Technician certication.

What you bring

- As per IBEW Collective Agreement.
- Must have completed a recognized Automotive Partsman Course

- 2 - 3 years of experience in the automotive and heavy truck parts industry.
- Completion of an Automotive Partsman/woman Trades Qualification (TQ)
- Interpersonal skills in dealing with employees as well as internal and external customers are an essential factor in the
