Mastertech Automotive is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and refinishing vehicles while maintaining a high standard of quality and workmanship.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation.

Mix and match automotive paint colours accurately.

Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat using professional spray equipment.

Perform paint blending and colour matching to achieve seamless repairs.

Inspect completed work for colour accuracy, coverage, finish, and quality.

Identify and correct imperfections such as runs, sags, dust, and uneven finishes.

Maintain spray guns, tools, equipment, and work areas.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures when handling paints and chemicals.

Work closely with body technicians and other team members to ensure efficient vehicle repairs.

Complete work according to established quality and productivity standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Automotive Painter / Auto Body Painter / Automotive Refinishing Technician.

Strong knowledge of automotive painting and refinishing techniques.





Experience with spray guns, paint mixing, colour matching, and blending.

Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Solid time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive repair environment.

Automotive refinishing certification or relevant training is an asset.
