Responsibilities

- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix and match automotive paints to achieve precise color matches and consistent finishes
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and other finishes using spray guns and hand tools with accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, making necessary touch-ups or rework to meet quality standards
- Use power tools and hand tools safely to remove old paint, repair minor surface damages, and perform refinishing tasks
- Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as needed during the painting process




- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling hazardous materials like paints, solvents, and chemicals

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or automotive painting background demonstrating skill in vehicle refinishing
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes and vehicle structures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and other painting equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving vehicles or parts during preparation or finishing stages
- Experience with automotive repair techniques that complement painting tasks for seamless results
- Mechanic experience is a plus, providing a broader understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining safety standards
