Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our customers’ vehicles running smoothly while providing exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including brake systems, suspensions, electrical components, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and system inspections.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs and assembly tasks.
- Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting and machinery operation to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, timelines,



and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience.

Qualifications

- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a solid mechanical background.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar industrial equipment is a plus.
- Skilled in using electrical schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems within vehicles or machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively.
- Experience with welding, assembly work, HVAC systems, or farm machinery maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools and industrial maintenance equipment.
