Duties

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment, including brakes, lights, tires, and load security, to maintain optimal safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs, reporting any issues or incidents promptly
- Perform routine automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime




- Collaborate with dispatchers to plan efficient routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including freight sorting and inventory management

Experience

- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight transportation or logistics companies
- Skilled in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling with relevant certifications preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting common vehicle issues
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, unloading, and operating machinery for extended periods
