Dozinghem Industrial Services is currently recruiting experienced B-Pressure Rig Welders to support the IKO Phase E1 Mechanical Project at the IKO Asphalt Plant in Calgary, Alberta.

Working through our client, Cahill Industrial, Dozinghem is providing skilled tradespeople to support mechanical and piping construction within an active industrial manufacturing facility.

Role Details:

Welders will support Phase E1 mechanical construction activities, which may include:

- Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment using applicable processes such as SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, or other approved procedures.
- Weld beams, columns, plates, brackets, assemblies, and other structural steel components to required specifications.
- Prepare materials and weld joints by cleaning, grinding, fitting, aligning, and verifying proper joint preparation.
- Perform structural steel welding in all positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
- Working from drawings, specifications and field measurements
- Coordination with other trades and contractors within an active operating facility
- Other welding activities required to support project execution

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates should have

- Grade B Pressure Welder certification
- Valid Journeyperson Welder certification or recognized equivalent
- Relevant industrial construction experience
- Experience with welding structural steel
- Ability to read and interpret drawings,



specifications and isometrics
- Strong understanding of secure work practices in an active industrial environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-trade project team
- Valid WHMIS certification
- Valid AWP and Harness/Fall Protection training are mandatory
- Ability to provide copies of required trade and safety certifications prior to mobilization
- Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, energy, mechanical construction or similar environments is considered an asset.

Project Details

- Location: IKO Asphalt Plant - Calgary, Alberta
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day
- Rotation: 4 days on / 3 days off
- Project Duration: Expected to be up to approximately four months
- Start: September 28, 2026
- Rate: $117.71/hour
- Schedules, hours and project duration may change based on operational and project requirements.
