Island Culinary Service is gearing up for our busy Fall and Winter Seasons. We are looking to add to our team of Catering Staff. We are looking for both Full time and part time professionals that can add to our core .
Banquet servers and banquet captains for the FOH. These positions play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of events. We are seeking individuals who are organized and have good communication skills, whether it be with their team, kitchen staff or clients.
Each position can enjoy the variety of catering options we provide from wedding, C.O.L's, cocktail parties, barbecues, prepackaged meals etc.
Responsibilities
- Oversee banquet operations with exceptional service and ensure all events run smoothly from setup to breakdown.
- Lead and manage a team of servers, and kitchen staff during events.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Work with other management to ensure outstanding teamwork and service.
- Organize and maintain cleaniness of F.O.H areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with prior experience in team management or supervising roles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Bring positivity to their team.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for event execution.
- Flexible availability which can include early morning, evenings and weekends.
- Be able to work alone and have good time management.
- Some heavy lifting will be required.
- Valid Drivers license a must( no vehicle required as we have company vehicles for events)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
