Barista

Duties

- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the serving area, seating area, and restroom

- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation

- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

Experience

- Previous experience in cashiering or cash handling preferred





- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating orders

- Knowledge of food service industry practices and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Education

- Secondary School (required)
