Location: Downtown Toronto - Hy brid- 1-3 days/per week in the office (no specific days)

Join a growing initiative within the banking industry focused on building insights for Insurance customers across multiple geographies in International Banking. This role supports complex business intelligence and reporting projects by gathering requirements, aligning technology solutions with business strategies, and supporting technical delivery teams. The position offers exposure to enterprise-scale initiatives within Technology Program Management & Transformation.

Must Haves

- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on technical projects and requirements gathering.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Experience with requirements management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- 5-8 years of experience working with SQL, Visio and Excel.
- 2 years of experience with Power Bi.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish

Nice to Have

- Any process certification, such as Six Sigma, IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.
- Experience in Databricks

Soft Skills Required:

- Strong business analysis and requirement-gathering skills.
- Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.

- Exceptional leadership skills to review processes and procedures to create efficiencies, eliminate duplication and provide organizational support to achieve business objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or a related field required

Responsibilities

- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers.
- Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
