At Mrs. P Stitches, the fitting experience is just as important as the final alterations.

We are an elevated bridal alterations and customization atelier specializing in precise fit, thoughtful gown transformations, and an exceptional client experience from the first fitting through final pickup.

We’re looking for a warm, confident, detail-oriented Bridal Stylist / Fitter who can guide brides through fittings, communicate clearly, and translate what a client wants into accurate information for our production team.

This is a client-facing role for someone who combines professionalism, empathy, organization, strong visual judgment, and exceptional client care.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome brides and create a calm, polished, supportive fitting experience
- Lead bridal appointments and guide clients through the alterations process
- Help brides safely get into and out of their gowns while protecting delicate fabrics and embellishments
- Assess fit visually, take accurate measurements, and document client concerns and requested changes
- Pin or mark garments within your training and approved fitting scope
- Explain alteration recommendations, timelines, expectations, and next steps clearly
- Capture accurate fitting notes, photos, and production instructions for our sewing team
- Help brides make confident decisions about fit, bustles, straps, necklines, sleeves, shaping, and customization options
- Recognize when a request requires technical review and involve the Head Seamstress when needed
- Maintain a clean,



organized, presentation-ready fitting environment
- Work closely with our Head Seamstress, seamstresses, and client-service team
- Deliver the high-touch client experience expected at Mrs. P Stitches

What We’re Looking For We’d love to meet candidates with experience in bridal, fashion, formalwear, luxury retail, styling, fittings, alterations, or another high-touch client-service environment.

You should have

- Strong people skills and the ability to make clients feel comfortable, heard, and confident
- A natural eye for fit, proportion, garment balance, and visual details
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and note-taking habits
- Confidence handling delicate, expensive, and emotionally significant garments
- Good judgment about when to take initiative and when to ask for technical guidance
- Reliability, punctuality, and accountability
- A calm, solutions-focused approach when a bride is nervous, uncertain, or disappointed
- Professional presence and a genuine interest in creating an exceptional bridal experience

Bridal or formalwear experience is strongly preferred. Experience with garment fittings, measurements, alterations, luxury service, or fashion styling is an asset. You’ll Thrive Here If You





You love helping people feel confident and cared for. You notice small visual and fit details others might miss, stay composed during busy appointments, communicate early when something needs technical clarification, and enjoy working alongside skilled sewing professionals.

You’re comfortable taking ownership of the client experience while also knowing when to bring in a seamstress or manager.
