Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Business and System Analyst (Level I) to join our Enterprise Delivery Office. In this role, you will work with regular guidance to elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements for low-to-medium complexity initiatives — facilitating workshops using established templates and support, and applying feedback to build your analysis and documentation skills. You will support the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the solution lifecycle, from requirements definition through testing, validation, and implementation acceptance, within Agile and hybrid delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements for standard, low-to-medium complexity initiatives, including User Stories, Business Rules, and Acceptance Criteria, under regular guidance from senior analysts
- Support the translation of business needs into structured system and technical requirements, ensuring requirements are transparent, complete, and aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions using established templates and support from senior team members
- Assist in interfacing between business stakeholders and technical teams (development, data, architecture, vendors) to clarify requirements and expected outcomes




- Support the review and validation of solution designs against documented requirements and business rules
- Draft clear acceptance criteria for standard scenarios, incorporating feedback to improve documentation quality
- Produce accurate documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Business Rules, subject to review
- Document defects, gaps, and change requests, escalating for review and resolution as needed
- Support the preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, requirements, assumptions, and dependencies
- Assist the Project Manager and cross-functional teams with planning, scope tracking, and change management activities
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and apply feedback to continuously develop analysis and documentation skills

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst (or equivalent experience)
- Growing experience in business analysis and system analysis within IT environments, including exposure to system integration, data flows, and application architectures
- Experience documenting user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) is an asset
- Basic understanding of testing methodologies, UAT, and acceptance processes




- Experience working in regulated industries; experience in Health Insurance, Third-Party Administration (TPA), or financial services considered an asset
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) preferred; B2 English level minimum
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to apply feedback in a fast-paced environment
