Iris's Direct client, a highly diversified financial services provider based in ON, CA is looking to hire a Business Analyst BSA Payments f or a Long Term Contract opportunity.

Location: Hybrid Toronto, ON – 4 days/week

Strong exp. as a Business System Analyst / Business Analyst

- Business Systems Analyst Strong hands-on knowledge of ISO 20022 payments message categories and structures (pacs, pain, camt, acmt).
- Experience on payments systems such as Wires, SWIFT, RTP, ACH, Cross-Border payments, or Real-Time payments.
- Solid expertise in mapping payments data between legacy formats (MT101, MT103, MT199 etc.) and ISO 20022 message schema.
- Experience creating BRD, FRD, Interface Specifications, Data Mapping documents, and traceability matrices.
- Strong understanding of payments lifecycle—initiation, authorization, settlement, returns, and reconciliation.
- Experience working with XML formats, schemas, and payment validation rules.
- Ability to collaborate with technology teams and functional SMEs, clarify ambiguities, and drive resolution.
