Cabinet Painter (Finisher – Stain Specialist)Key Responsibilities & General Duties

- Sanding/prepping MDF materials as well as stain grade materials
- Tend to or operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare items for application of stain finishes
- Experience with 2k water based coatings
- Have previous knowledge using AAA spray equipment, cup guns etc.
- Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

- 5 years of experience as a finisher with proficient experience in applying water based coatings
- Must have previous experience with spray stains, wiping stains, solid colours and clear coats
- High quality attention to detail with a critical eye for identifying defects
- Experience and ability in reading and understanding measurements and mixing proportions
- Physically able to lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs.
