Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinets and related components, ensuring a high-quality, smooth, and durable surface. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of beautiful, functional cabinetry that meets our strict standards for craftsmanship and aesthetics.

Duties

- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finishing conditions
- Apply stains, paints, lacquers, varnishes, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or power tools
- Operate machinery such as sanders, spray booths, and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished cabinets for quality issues including color consistency, smoothness, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the finishing process
- Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
- Collaborate with assembly and machining teams to ensure seamless workflow and product quality

Qualifications





- Prior experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or finishing environments preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment effectively
- Familiarity with the use of cranes or forklifts is a plus for material handling purposes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to finishing processes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement in workflow efficiency
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications related to cabinetry finishes
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finished products
