Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions to teach dogs basic commands, manners, and behavioral skills using positive reinforcement techniques
- Socialize dogs with other animals and humans to promote confidence and reduce anxiety
- Assist with daily care routines including exercise, and health monitoring
- Handle dogs safely during training activities, including heavy lifting of equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized play environment ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times




- Support team members by providing guidance on canine behavior and training methods as needed

Experience

- Previous experience working with dogs or in animal care is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of dogs or equipment safely without injury
- Passion for animal welfare and a genuine desire to improve canine behavior and quality of life
- Willingness to work in a physically active environment that may involve standing, walking, bending, or lifting for extended periods
