We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cargo Van / Sprinter Delivery Driver for a dedicated delivery route.
SIGNIFICANT: You MUST have your own cargo van or Sprinter van to qualify for this position. A vehicle is NOT provided.
This opportunity is ideal for an independent contractor looking for consistent route work. You will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, accurately, and on schedule while maintaining professional service throughout the route.
Responsibilities
- Operate your own cargo van or Sprinter van to complete the assigned delivery route.
- Pick up, load, transport, and deliver packages safely and efficiently.
- Follow the designated route and meet required delivery timelines.
- Handle packages carefully and ensure accurate deliveries.
- Maintain delivery confirmations and required proof of delivery.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, delivery issues, or route updates.
- Follow all traffic laws and safe-driving procedures.
- Keep your vehicle clean, safe, insured, and suitable for commercial delivery work.
Requirements
- Must own or have reliable access to a cargo van or Sprinter van.
- Must have previous delivery experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
- Reliable smartphone with data and GPS/navigation capability.
- Ability to load and unload packages safely.
- Must be dependable and able to consistently complete the assigned route.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Commercial delivery experience is preferred.
- Must maintain appropriate vehicle insurance and required documentation.
