Café Team Member – Downtown Halifax

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our café team in Downtown Halifax. This is a flexible café position with responsibilities that may include food preparation, baking, customer service, cleaning, stocking, and assisting with daily operations.

Responsibilities: Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, baked goods, and other café food items Assist with baking, food preparation, portioning, and ingredient preparation Support daily café operations and service Keep the kitchen, preparation areas, and equipment clean and organized Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness throughout the café Restock ingredients, supplies, and display items as needed Follow food safety and hygiene standards Provide friendly and professional customer service when required Assist team members during busy periods Take on additional responsibilities based on experience and ability Perform other general café duties as required

Requirements: Previous experience in a café, bakery, restaurant, food-service, or supervisory environment is an asset but not required Experience with baking,



food preparation, customer service, or café operations is welcome Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing a variety of café duties Individuals with leadership or management experience are encouraged to apply
