Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in flavor and presentation
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food prep personnel, to maintain efficient workflow and uphold food safety standards
- Manage food handling procedures, including storage, sanitation, and inventory control to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Oversee food service operations during busy hours, coordinating with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Lead team management efforts by training new employees, providing ongoing coaching, and fostering a collaborative environment
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment




- Assist with menu development by contributing creative ideas that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Extensive food service experience within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience in bartending or serving is a plus but not required; flexibility to support all aspects of restaurant operations is essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and coordinate with different departments
