Kindred Therapy Clinic is a collaborative practice supporting children, teens, and families in Aurora and across Ontario. We believe meaningful care grows through connection—not only between clinicians and clients, but also among practitioners.

We are seeking experienced Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychotherapists, or Registered Nurse Psychotherapists to join our growing team as independent contractors. The successful candidate will have experience providing psychotherapy to children and families and will value collaborative, client-centred care.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will:

- Provide psychotherapy to children and families in accordance with the professional, legal, and ethical standards of the OCSWSSW or CRPO or CNO
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Review and revise treatment plans as clinically appropriate, incorporating current evidence, best-practice guidelines, and professional judgment
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans when required
- Collaborate with caregivers, team members, and other service providers, with appropriate client consent
- Identify when clients may benefit from additional or alternative services and provide appropriate referrals
- Follow Kindred Therapy Clinic’s policies, procedures, and client-care values
- Participate in monthly team meetings
- Seek clinical consultation or supervision when appropriate
- Maintain all registration,



(including professional liability insurance), and skilled-development requirements associated with independent practice

Experience The successful candidate must have:

- Current registration is in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), or the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- A master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, Psychology, or a related field
- A minimum of two years of experience practising the controlled act of psychotherapy
- Training, certification, or equivalent clinical experience working with children and families
- Experience using a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Strong case conceptualization and treatment-planning skills
- Experience conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans when clinically appropriate
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- The ability to provide in-person services in Aurora and virtual services to clients across Ontario
- An interest in contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical team
- Proven experience working with children across diverse age groups and backgrounds
- Prior hospital or clinical experience in pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with research methodologies related to child development and family therapy practices

Pay: From $120.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
