Position: Child Caregiver - Private Home Vacancy: 1 Wage: CAD$ 20.00 per week Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30 40 hours per week Benefits: 4% vacation pay Job Duties:

- Supervise and care for the child in the employer's home.
- Assist the child with bathing, dressing, toileting and personal care as needed.
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child's care.
- Oversee the child's daily activities, including meals, rest periods, playtime and routines, as instructed by the employer.
- Maintain a protected, healthy, and clean environment in the home.
- Instruct and assist the child with personal hygiene and age-appropriate self-care.
- Support the child's emotional well-being and encourage positive social development.
- Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Organize and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities such as games,



crafts, reading, outdoor play, and outings.
- Accompany the child to and from appointments, activities, and outings as required.
- Keep the parents informed of the child's daily activities, behaviour, and any health-related concerns.

Job Requirements

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Minimum 6 months of child care experience or completion of a training program in child care or a related field is required.
- Criminal record clearance is required.
- Language at work: English.
