Community Options for Children and Families is a non-profit society seeking experienced caregivers for our Children's Respite Program. We provide respite for children with developmental disabilities and autism. Contracted respite workers provide families with a break from daily caregiving and offer a child the opportunity to form meaningful relationships in the community.
The most desired time for respite is on weekends. The children/ youth have a variety of care needs, some requiring behavioural support.
We have multiple contract positions and one involves caring for 2 siblings together, which is paid at the higher rate of $35 per hour.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
