Position Summary Position Title: Class 1 Truck Driver Location (Start Point): Red Deer , AB Delivery Area: Delivering for various customers in Red Deer and surrounding areas, Employment Type: Full time Shift Schedule: Monday - Saturday Start Time: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented drivers to join our growing transportation team. Responsibilities - Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across city and regional routes - Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Red deer in a safe, timely, and professional manner - Operate curtain side equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements - Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standards - Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights,



and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.

- Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports - Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures - Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required Core Requirements - Valid Class 1 driver's license (manual transmission will be an assest) - Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events) - Must have excellent communication and customer service skills - Moffett experience will be an asset, training will be provided if required - Comfortable with smartphone technology - Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors - Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada - Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement - Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach Role-Specific Requirements Class 1 Truck Driver - Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience Required Flatbed Drivers - Experience securing loads using chains and straps in all weather conditions
