Job Summary:

TheCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse.TheCNA atEdgertonCare Centercompletes assigned tasks to ensuretimely,efficientandsafepatient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents,familiesand other health teammembersis an essentialcomponentof this position.

Compensation:

CNAbase hourly wage:$19.00 – $22.04 per hourdependenton experience

PLUSshift differentials- $2.00 per hour PMshiftand $2.50 per hour NOC shift

Key Responsibilities:

- Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Implementsplan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural,ethnicand religious/spiritual needs.




- Provides direct patient/resident care andreportscondition and changes to RN or LPN.
- Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Document results of patient/resident care within established policies,proceduresand scope of practice.
- Nutritional care
- Effective communication with residents and family
- Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Must be in valuable standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry orappropriate entity
- Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
- Must be English literate andpossessexcellent writtenandverbal communication skills

Preferred:

- Previoushospital or long-termcare or skilled nursing experience
- CPR Certified
