About the Position
Habitat Delaware Conservation & Development Co is seeking a motivated and organized Community Manager to join our team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining solid relationships with community members, coordinating engagement activities, managing communications, and supporting initiatives that contribute to a positive and active community environment.
This is a fully on-site position at our Edmonton office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate community programs, meetings, events, and engagement activities.
- Respond to inquiries, feedback, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor community needs, concerns, and feedback and communicate relevant information to management.
- Create and distribute community updates, announcements, newsletters, and other communications.
- Maintain accurate records of community activities, contacts, events, and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to support community projects.
- Assist with planning and organizing workshops, presentations, and community events.
- Encourage participation and engagement across community initiatives.
- Track participation, engagement metrics, and project progress.
- Help identify opportunities to improve communication,
participation, and community services.
- Support administrative tasks related to community programs and operations.
- Represent the organization professionally when interacting with community members and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in community management, customer service, communications, administration, public relations, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Comfortable communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common communication and collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
- Professional and approachable communication style.

Work Arrangement: On-site - employees are expected to work from the Edmonton office. Pay: $21.50-$26.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
