National Paving Concrete Division is looking for hardworking and reliable Concrete Labourers to join our growing crew. This is a hands-on position supporting the concrete crew with site preparation, forming, concrete placement, finishing, cleanup, and general construction duties.

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparation of job sites for concrete work
- Assist with excavation, grading, and base preparation
- Move and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist form setters with installing and securing concrete forms
- Assist with placing rebar, wire mesh, chairs, and other reinforcing materials
- Help place, spread, and move concrete during pours
- Assist concrete finishers with tools and equipment
- Operate hand tools and small equipment as required
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Assist with stripping and removing forms after concrete has cured
- Help with final cleanup of completed projects
- Follow directions from the foreman and other crew members
- Follow all company and jobsite safety policies and procedures
- Perform other general construction duties as required

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous concrete or construction experience is an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn concrete construction and finishing techniques
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Good physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's licence is an asset




- Construction experience or experience operating hand tools is an asset

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position requiring:
- Frequent lifting and carrying of materials
- Bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods
- Working on uneven ground and construction sites
- Working outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs as required

Safety Requirements Employees are required to follow National Paving's safety policies and wear all required PPE, including:
- CSA-approved work boots
- High-visibility shirt or vest
- Hard hat when required
- Safety glasses
- Appropriate work clothing and other PPE required by the jobsite
